Dear Fain family,
So sad to hear of Joan's passing. My husband & I knew them for many years.  Joan the was blessed we a great sense of humor.  She was a joy to know.  Also, so sad to hear of Billy's passing earlier.  He and my husband, Don, were in Boy scouts as boys.  We also, attended St Mark Lutheran, Conroe with them. We now live in California and have lost contact with this very delightful couple.  It saddens our heart and send our deepest Sympathy to their family.

   This is Becky Parnell's Mom. We lived off Willis Waukegan and your Mom and I would visit as you two girls played. I enjoyed talking to her and watching our families grow up on the dusty roads of Cut 'N Shoot.

Joan Fain was always a bright spot in my world.  I met Joan back in 1991 when I started work with TRC.  We worked side by side for several years until her retirement.  She always sent me Valentine and Christmas cards.  Occasionally we had lunch to catch up.  She always bragged on her family.  I will miss her greatly.  My deepest sincere sympathy for your loss.

Your dad was my first cousin and I always thought he and Joan were special.  I remember fond memories of  them when they visited with me at my Aunt Minnie's house, my grandparents home(Mama & Papa Carter), and at my home with my husband and I.  She was such a nice lady and I loved to hear her laugh.  I know she is happy now being with Billy again and free from her illness.  We have all of you in our thoughts and prayers.
