Jim Bob Propes, 78, passed away at home surrounded by family Sunday, June 9, 2024.

Jim was born August 3, 1945 in Dallas, Texas to Howard L. Propes Sr. and Patsy Ruth Crabb.

He is survived by daughters, Paula Pemberton-Kelm (Mike Kelm) and Denise Stalcup (Steven); brother Howard L. Propes Jr. (Nathalie); grandchildren, Ensign Kale E. Pemberton, USN (Holly), Devin M. Propes, and Andrew Stalcup; great grandchildren, Raeleigh Pemberton and Wyatt Pemberton. He also leaves behind many nieces, one nephew and numerous cousins.

He is preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and baby boy Propes.

A celebration of life memorial service for Jim will be held Saturday, June 15, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Metcalf Funeral Directors, 1801 East White Oak Terrace, Conroe, Texas 77304 with a reception following the service.
