Jerry “Dwyane” Prichard - Dwyane was an exceptional man who always had a smile on his face. He was warm, loving, caring, patient, hardworking, kind, and he loved to help others in any way he could. He was a man of honor and integrity. Brilliant would best describe him. We will never forget how his persistence and stubbornness were also some of his best characteristics that we all loved. His personality was definitely one of a kind to all that knew him, he could light up an entire room-especially one filled with children, who loved and were drawn to him. We all loved his sense of humor and the way that when he teased us, he was just showing us another one of his ways to love us. He was one of God’s most beautiful children and he was called to heaven to be with Jesus too soon. Dwyane was a wonderful man. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, uncle, brother, and the most amazing grandfather to his grandchildren. The love, concern, care and nurture Dwyane gave to others and his family cannot be measured. He was a blessing to so many lives and he was a very special man to us all. Dwyane passed away on Monday January 27, at 11:00 a.m. in Conroe, Texas with his family by his side. He was born on February 14, 1943 in Canyon, Texas to Loyd and Annie Prichard. He was the third born of four siblings. He graduated from Canyon High School in 1961 and West Texas State University with a BA in 1965. Dwyane was very hard working his entire life. From early childhood, he began working at the age of eight with his very own paper route. He later worked at Bellah’s grocery store as sacker. In college he worked at Cumming’s Accounting Firm. After college, Dwyane moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma to work at W.R. Grace. Then he began a long career in the oil business. He worked for Noble Drilling and later moved to Ardmore, Oklahoma to work for Samedan Oil in Human Resources. He moved to Sugar Land, Texas where he continued working for Noble Drilling. He was a successful businessman who relocated to many different cities throughout his career for great opportunities. Dwyane adored his wife Nancy and loved spending time with his family, especially with his grandchildren. He is survived by wife Nancy Prichard, his children, Sherry and (Dean) Randolph, David and (Christine) Prichard, and step-children Todd and (Amy) Tarochione, and Angela and (Dan) Nungaray; grandchildren, Alayna and Tyler Tarochione, Luke Prichard, Jett Randolph, and Brady and Bella Nungaray; brothers, Weldon and (Ann) Prichard, Edward Prichard, and sister JoAnn and (Sam) Vandiver. Dwyane truly enjoyed living life. He loved sports and especially loved watching the Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Longhorns. He spent most of his free time on his computer, giving life and financial advice, playing games with his family, collecting coins, listening to country music, watching western movies, and hanging out with his grandchildren. He also LOVED to sing to his loved ones!
We will all see you again Dad, Grandpa, and Dwyane! Give Grandaddy and Nanny a big hug from us all!
We will be with you again forever and always!
We will never forget you and the lessons in life you taught each one of us. You will live in our hearts forever!
