Wera Jean "Jeannie" Lunsford, 57, was born on September 23, 1965 and passed away on September 17, 2023. Jeannie was a loving person who refused to let life’s obstacles deter her from fulfilling God’s mission for her while on this earth. She was a great daughter, sister, mother, wife, and friend.
Jeannie/JeJe is a synonym for JOY and anyone who was lucky enough to cross paths with her can attest to that. Second only to God to Jeannie was family and that started with her husband Ricky who preceded her in death and has been waiting in Heaven for her since January 13th 2008. Her life was dedicated to being a great mother to her three sons, Greg, Matt and Zach, and the best JeJe to her ten grand babies, Lane, Levi, Bryson, Camdyn, Paisley, Emersyn, Paige, Landon, Ellijah and Liam. We now celebrate the pain free life she lives in Heaven and look back on so many great memories made while here on Earth.
She is survived by her son, Greg and his wife Courtney, their children, Lane, Levi, Paisley and Paige of Huntsville; son, Matt and his fiancé Chelsey, their children, Bryson, Landon, Liam and Camdyn of Magnolia; son, Zach and his wife Tiffany, their children, Ellijah and Emersyn of Conroe; brother, Charlie, and his sons Michael and Christopher of La Porte.
Visitation will be held Thursday, September 21, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Cashner Funeral Home, 801 Teas Road, Conroe, TX 77303.
The funeral service will occur Friday, September 22, 2023 at Cashner Funeral Home beginning at 2:00 PM. Graveside will immediately follow in Garden Park Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers are Greg Lunsford, Matt Lunsford, Zach Lunsford, Lane James, Dylan Harper, Wade Harper, Levi Lunsford and Bryson Lunsford.
