Jean Lynn Hood Watson, of College Station, Texas (formerly of Montgomery, TX) went to be with her Lord and Savior on September 14, 2022. Jean was born on September 1, 1939 to M.L. Hood and Bertha Hood in Houston, Texas.
Jean married Robert L “Bob” Watson on September 5, 1958. They had two sons, Larry and Daniel Watson.
Jean was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. Her life was spent caring for her family whom she dearly loved. She was also a wonderful cook and loved cooking for her family and all who would enjoy it.
Jean was also actively involved in Bible Study Fellowship for a large number of years. She truly loved it and all the ladies she met during her time being involved.
Jean is preceded in death by her parents M.L. and Bertha Hood, her husband Robert L. “Bob” Watson and Jean’s second husband Robert E. Black. She is also preceded in death by her son Daniel Watson.
She is survived by her son Larry Watson (wife Jennifer) of Iola, Texas and grandchildren Mallory Alyse Watson of Austin, Texas and Bailey Erin Watson (fiancé Kyler Gagliano) of Houston, Texas.
The family would like to thank Sodalis Senior Living Community and Accent Hospice Care, both of College Station, Texas for taking care of Jean so well.
