Gladys Jean McGIII (Jean) was born on February 9, 1925 and passed away on October 28, 2017 at the age of 92. She was a Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother and has lived in Conroe for 47 years. In her working years, Jean was a nurse in Pasadena before her family relocated to Conroe. She and her husband were the owners of White's Auto Store. After her retirement from the business, she enjoyed many activities such as line dancing and belonged to a wonderful group who would take their dancing to various nursing homes in Conroe to entertain the residents. She also enjoyed water walking and belly dancing as something fun to do as well as a good exercise. She met many friends through her dancing groups and being a business owner in Conroe. Preceded in death by her husband; Curtis (CO.) McGill, parents; James Edward Tribe and Gladys Tribe, and sister; Betty Lou Eaton, Jean is survived by her daughter; Linda Perryman, son in law; Glyn Bailey, son; Larry McGill, and daughter in law, Marcia McGill, grandchildren; Lisa Hemphill, and husband Kevin , Brian Manuel and wife Windy, Michael McGill, Marissa McGill, Sherri Perryman, and Tim Perryman, great grand children: Zachery, Hunter and Madison Hemphill, Carolyn, James and Brittney Manuel, Ryan Perryman and Reagan Grant. A funeral service for Gladys Jean McGill will be held at Cashner Funeral Home in Conroe, Texas on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at 12:00pm with visitation prior to service from 10:00am to 12:00pm. Interment will follow service at Rosewood Memorial Park in Humble, Texas.
