Jaynne Wiesner was born May 29,1962 in Houston and passed away peacefully on April 12, 2025 in Houston.
Jaynne graduated from Conroe High School in 1980 and went on to earn a BS in Education at Sam Houston State University. Upon graduation, she dedicated ten years to teaching in Conroe ISD.
From an early age, she had an undeniable passion for horses and was a natural in the saddle. She began barrel racing as a child and grew up surrounded by the rhythm of hooves and the thrill of competition. She was fearless. In her twenties, she took her skill to the next level, competing in the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo, where she showcased her talent and love for the sport. Horses weren’t just a part of her life---they were the heart of it. As time passed, her two daughters, Skye and Tori, followed in her footsteps, discovering their own love for riding. She found pure joy in spending time at the barn watching them practice and compete.
Jaynne was known for her truly giving personality. She loved to cook and host lunches, dinners, and game nights while attending horse shows or making sure her daughter Lexi and her friends were eating healthy meals and snacks during figure skating practices and competitions. She might not have always sought the spotlight, but her greatest joy came from being surrounded by people and giving to others. Whether preparing a simple meal or hosting a grand celebration, Jaynne poured her gracious heart into everything, always over the top and always the best.
Jaynne was preceded in death by her father, Jerry Lester Yancey. She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Don Edd Wiesner, her mother Lillian Louise Yancey, her brother Ken Yancey, her daughters Skye Kendall Wiesner, Lexi Wiesner-Smith (Tanner Smith), and Tori Wiesner. Stepdaughters Lauren Wiesner-Blackmon (Todd Blackmon) children Saige Wiesner and Nick Hunter and Falon Wiesner-Jones (Chad Jones) children Olivia, Alex and Maude Jones.
