Michael attended Conroe Schools and graduated in 1981 from Conroe High School. He continued his education at North Harris County College and was self employed before working for Moore Supply Company in Conroe, Texas.
He was a member of the Conroe Noon Lions Club with 28 years of perfect attendance, a Lifetime Member of Montgomery County Fair Association and a recipient of the Melvin Jones Fellow Award.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Floyd and Ruth Stewart of Conroe and Buddy and Emmie O'Riley of Pineland, Texas, his mother, Esther Faye Stewart and an infant sister both of Conroe.
He is survived by his father, James M. Stewart and fiancee, Darlene Stephens, sisters: Shelley Harwell and husband, Mark, of Katy, Texas; Mandy Stewart and husband, Deral Faltesek of Conroe, nieces, Alex, Mady and Robin Harwell, Farrah Faltesek, along with nephews, Jayme and Andrew and his wife, Amanda, and their children, Moriah and Miles of Conroe, Texas.
Michael was diagnosed with Muscular Dystrophy at the age of 17. He dedicated his life to the community and his family. He was a loyal member of First Baptist Church, Conroe, Texas and a member of the Encourager Sunday School Class. He will be greatly missed by all.
Visitation will be held at Cashner's Funeral Home in Conroe, Texas on Sunday, October 25, 2015 from 2-4 p.m. Funeral services will be held at First Baptist Church in Conroe, Monday, October 26, 2015 at 2 p.m. There will be a short visitation following the service and a graveside burial at Conroe Memorial Park next to Mims Baptist Church on FM 1314, Conroe, Texas at 4 p.m.
