Jim H. Renfro Jr., was born March 18, 1958 in Louisville, Kentucky and passed away on December 2, 2012 in Conroe, Texas while volunteering at his church, doing what he loved to do. In 1960 his family moved to Largo, Florida where he spent his youth. Jim had a strong Christian faith and was active in the Trinity Presbyterian Church Youth Group in Clearwater, Florida growing up. From an early age, Jim showed a strong artistic talent. Jim excelled in painting and photography throughout his life and enjoyed a wide variety of art forms, with a strong emphasis on Music. He graduated from Sam Houston State University with a degree in photography in 1980 and was an active member in the SSI fraternity and Circle K. With a giving heart, Jim was an active volunteer in several organizations through the years which included the Crisis Hotline and the Montgomery County Food Bank, and won awards for his participation. Jim was a long standing member of First Presbyterian Church in Conroe. Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy Renfro and James H. Renfro Sr. of Conroe, Texas. He is survived by his siblings, Jean Mann of The Woodlands, Texas and Mark Renfro of Katy, Texas as well as an Aunt and Uncle and numerous cousins in Arizona, California, Nevada, New Mexico, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia. Services will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at 2:00pm at the First Presbyterian Church in Conroe, Texas.
