James Henry Glisson Sr. passed away October 18, 2013 at the age of 80, in The Woodlands, Texas. He was born March 3, 1933, in Wilmington, North Carolina to Benjamin and Rosa Glisson. He is survived by his loving wife of 16 years, Doreen Glisson; daughters, Janet Duva Hassall of Panorama Village, Texas, Linda Hilburn and Don of Greensboro, North Carolina, Peggy Joyce Gerritson and Allen of Rogers, Arkansas, Lisa Duva of Conroe, Texas; sons, James Henry Glisson Jr. and Sandra of New Waverly, Texas, Paul Francis Duva and Yolanda Lozano of Austin, Texas; brother, Benjamin Glisson of Wilmington, North Carolina; ten grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Numerous other family members and a host of friends also survive. Celebration of Life will be held at Cashner Colonial Chapel, 801 Teas Road, Conroe, Texas, 77303, on November 5, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Joe MacDonald officiating.
