James Daniel "Danny" Caldwell, age 81, was born March 22, 1935 in Houston, Texas and died peacefully on August 14, 2016 at his home in Huntsville, Texas. He was a civil servant to his country as a member of the Army Nation Guard. He was a civil servant to his Community as a Houston Fire Fighter, Arson Investigator and Private Investigator, as well as a servant to his Lord at Farris Chapel and a member of the Shriners. He was a Great Man, Father, Son, Brother, Uncle, Brother-in-law, Nephew, Cousin and Co-Worker too many whom Loved and Respected him dearly. He was preceded in death by his father Walter Caldwell, mother Alice Kitchens, wife Brenda Caldwell, ex-wife Helen Caldwell, son Stanley Caldwell, Brothers Tony Caldwell and George Caldwell, Sisters Lona Allsup, Betty Henry and Ona Smith. He is survived by his daughters Billie Haneline, Stacey Ensell and her husband Bill, his son Albert Caldwell and his wife Kim, 7 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and many nephews, nieces and cousin. Visitation will be held Friday, August 19, 2016 at Farris Chapel United Methodist Church from 10:00am to 12:30pm. Funeral services will follow visitation starting at 12:30pm with interment following in Farris Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Randy Caldwell, Tony Caldwell, Spencer Caldwell, Kellan Caldwell, Paul Linker and Tyler Avenell.
