Funeral services for Helen E Nelson will be held Saturday, May 5, 2012 at 10:00am in Cashner Colonial Chapel with Rev. Jack McChurch officiating. Burial will immediately follow in Garden Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, May 4, 2012 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Cashner Funeral Home. Helen was born July 26, 1934 in Mendenhall, Mississippi to Lester Lamar Blackwell and Oretus Phene Edwards-Blackwell and passed away on May 1, 2012 in Conroe, Texas. Helen worked as the receptionist at Buckalew Chevrolet for numerous years. She had a strong commitment to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Helen is survived by her son, Greg Nelson and wife Vickie of Cypress, TX; daughter, Terri Walters and husband Larry of Conroe, TX; granddaughters, Kalie Brown and husband Rico of TX City, TX, Lacie Michael and husband Eric of Cleveland, TX, Lauren Nelson of Cypress, TX and Kristin Nelson of Cypress, TX; grandsons, Cody Roberts and wife Heather of Daistta,TX, Derrick Nelson of Cypress, TX and Shane Orr of Conroe, TX; great grandchildren, Mason and Bailey Michael, Olivia and Julian Brown, Gustavo Rene Inocencio and Peyton Sinclair; future great grandchildren, Nolan Orr and Bradyen Roberts and Helen’s; brother, Wallace Blackwell and wife, Marilyn and Jerry Blackwell and Quida; sister, Peggy Courtney, very special friend, John Henderson. Pallbearers will be Cody Roberts, Shane Orr, Rico Brown, Aaron Blackwell, Edward Blackwell and Derrick Nelson.
