Harry Mack Brown, long time resident of The Woodlands and member of The Woodlands Methodist Church, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 9, 2022. Mack was a loving husband, devoted father, father-in-law, grandfather and great grandfather. He was born and raised in Duncan, OK, where he met and married Sue Brown. They were blessed with 56 years of marriage. Mack graduated with a degree in Petroleum Engineering from Oklahoma State University. He worked in the oil industry throughout his career and retired from Mitchell Energy & Development Corp. in 1992.
Mack served the Lord in many ways but he is best remembered for his participation in Savior Sons men’s Bible group and his service in Society of St. Stephen ministry.
Mack is survived by his son, Mark Brown and his wife Susan and their two sons and their families: Tyler Brown, his wife Sydney and their son Roy; Kevin Brown and his wife Kendall. Mack is also survived by his daughter Jana Mayberry, her daughter, Shannon Mayberry and her sons and their families: Jordan Koster, his wife Laura and their daughters Hannah Mack and Ruby; Kyle Koster and his wife Sara; Scott Mayberry and his wife Emmie. Mack’s family felt blessed to be surrounded by Mack’s love and wisdom.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be offered to the Society of St. Stephen at The Woodlands Methodist Church, 2200 Lake Woodlands Drive, The Woodlands, TX 77380. Please write “Mack Brown Memorial” on the check.
The family of Mack Brown thanks all for their prayers, love and care. A Celebration of Life will be held at The Woodlands Methodist Church Robb Chapel on Wednesday, November 23rd at 2 p.m., with a reception following in Jones Hall.
