A proud graduate of Caney Creek High School in 1999, Greg went on to pursue a career in construction, eventually becoming a superintendent for a respected Commercial construction company. His passion for life extended beyond his career—he loved creating music and had an affinity for fast motorcycles and cars.
Greg was known for his kind heart and his ability to live life to the fullest. He had a heart of gold and embodied the belief that we should never judge a book by its cover. His unwavering loyalty to his friends and family made him a pillar in the lives of those who knew him. He was always there to support others, offering a helping hand and a kind word.
Greg had an especially deep love for his niece and nephew, Nathan and Tegan Trero, and that love extended to Gianna, Weston, Giacobbe, and Whitley. He had a special and unique bond with each of his family members and friends and his presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his mother, Terri Trero; brothers, Harley Trero and his spouse Livni Mendez, and Jason Trero; his beloved niece and nephew, Nathan and Tegan Trero; his aunts, Peggy Trero and her spouse Steve, and Donna Rigsby and her spouse Albert; his dearest friend, Fern Garcia; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and friends.
Greg's life may have been short, but his impact on those around him will be felt forever. He will be remembered for his generosity, kindness, loyalty, and badassery.
Rest in peace, Greg you will be missed by all who had the privilege of crossing your path.
A visitation for Greg will be held Saturday, March 29, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Cashner Funeral Home, 801 Teas Road, Conroe, TX 77303. A funeral service will occur Saturday, March 29, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 801 Teas Road, Conroe, TX 77303. A graveside service will occur Saturday, March 29, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at Garden Park Cemetery, 801 Teas Rd, Conroe, TX 77303.
Serving as pallbearers are Harley Trero, Jason Trero, Steve Goetz, Jacob Butler, Charlie Ramshur and Sam Campbell.
