Funeral services for Georgia Lee Whited will be held Monday, September 9, 2013 at 11:00am in the Mausoleum Chapel of Garden Park Cemetery with Pastor Tim Byrd officiating. Georgia was born February 5, 1930 in Coeburn, Virginia to Sylvester and Virgie McConnell and passed away September 6, 2013 in The Woodlands, Texas. Georgia was a member of the Garden Club of Virginia Beach. She had a love for camping and was an excellent cook. She was a very loving wife, devoted mother and grandmother. “Granny loved her 3 little angels”. Georgia is preceded in death by her parents. Georgia is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Thomas Whited of The Woodlands; daughter, Kathy Butler and husband John of The Woodlands; son, Thomas Whited of Pigeon Forge, TN; sister, Ned Kesee of Lynchburg, VA; grandchildren, David Thomas Butler, James Ryan Butler and Thomas Edward Whited II.
