Linda Gayle Daniel, 66, passed peacefully at home, after a lengthy battle with pancreatic cancer, on May 12, 2023. She was born on September 7, 1956 in Knox City, Texas to Samuel Tankersley and June Lowrey. Gayle graduated from Knox City High School, Class of 1975. Gayle married Mark Daniel, and they shared a beautiful, fruitful marriage of over 46 years. They had two wonderful children Jamie and David. Gayle and Mark served together in church as teachers, and had a successful marriage ministry to over 400 couples. Gayle was a realtor for over 31 years, and held the titles of CRS, LTG and ABR. Gayle was a Re/Max Hall of Fame Realtor, and past President of WCR.
Gayle was known for her loving and compassionate heart, and her laughter. She was a kind and generous woman full of the Holy Spirit to bless others. She loved music, dancing, playing games, traveling, and being with her family, especially her two grandchildren Beau and Bella. Gayle loved to go on adventures with her family. Most importantly her trips to Israel. Gayle blessed many people with her wisdom, encouragement and infectious personality. It was said that everywhere Gayle was a party soon broke out! Hospitality was one of her many spiritual gifts.
Gayle is preceded in death by her father Samuel Tankersley. Surviving in addition to her husband, Mark, are her mother June Tankersley, her daughter, Jamie Levet & husband, Brent, her son, David, her grandchildren, Beau and Bella Levet, mother-in-law, Mickey Murchison, sister-in-law, Debbie Daniel, brother-in-law, Richard and wife Vickie, brother-in-law, Shannon and wife Brooklynn, sister-in-law, Leslie and husband Preston, an aunt, great aunts-in-law and many cousins, nephews and nieces.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, May 22, 2023 at The Ark Church in Conroe, Texas beginning at 2:30pm.
