Funeral services for Frances Ann Dykes will be held Friday, January 18, 2013 at 3:00pm in Cashner Colonial Chapel with Rev. Gene Kendrick officiating. Burial will follow in Conroe Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday, January 17, 2013 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Cashner Funeral Home. In loving Memory of Frances McLeroy Dykes, to whom was called Home to her Lord and Savior on January 14, 2013 at the age of 80 years and 51 days. She was born November 24, 1932 in Crockett, Texas to James and Katie Kennedy. She has reunited in Heaven with her parents, James Kennedy and Katie Hughes; her 1st husband, O.D. McLeroy, Jr., whom she was married to on April 23, 1955 until his death on April 21, 1980. She is also preceded in death by her 2nd husband, Thomas E, Dykes, whom she was married to on January 31, 1987 until his death on September 16, 2011. Frances is survived by her loving children, Leann Windmiller and husband, Tim; Marsha Martin and husband, Tommy, Ron McLeroy and Rodney Myers; her very special granddaughter, Torri Martin, who was Granny’s Sugar Lump!; brother, James “Tootie” Kennedy; Step children, Joe Hammons and wife Gloria, Andy Hammons, Danny Dykes and wife Debbie, Phyllis Morgan and Wesley Dykes and wife Candy; Numerous step grandchildren and great grandchildren, as well as, a host of other extended relatives and friends.
