Missing You on your birthday. You were very kind and thoughtful with a warm and loving heart and when other people needed help, you always played your part. You're thought of every single day whatever time of year but somehow more than ever now your special day is here. No present can be given and that's really very hard but there's a world of love inside this special little card. Each memory is shining bright and treasured dearly, too, But memories can't take the place of someone dear, like you. Until we meet again, wrap your arms around all of us and know we miss you every day.

Happy Mother's Day nana!! I miss you SO much I can't even explain. I miss all of our memories and being able to go and see you whenever I may please. It was one year ago today that we had to say Goodbye. I have such mixed emotions today. Happy that you are free from pain and confinement, sad because I miss you and still can't fill the void in my daily life. Wrap you arms around your children and Grandchildren. It will be a difficult day for all of us.  You are so wonderful to think of but so hard to be without. Goodbyes are not forever, are not the end. It simply means I'll miss you until we meet again.

It's been a very tough day without you today. So many things I want to tell you. I miss our talks and your loving advice and support. You kept me sane and grounded. Please watch over Alton and give him peace. He misses you so much. We talk about you daily and cherish our memories. I know you are celebrating with your family in Heaven but I selfishly wish you were here with us. Happy Birthday my sweet Mother-in-Law. I will never say Goodbye, I will say See you again some day.

Happy Birthday Nana! I miss you so so much and I wish you were still here. I love you so much and I wish I could see you one last time. I remember the last thing I said to you and I wish I could have said more. Your the best Nana I could have ever asked for and just to think of you being gone makes me sick. I am so nervous for the first day of school and I know you would be here to tell me everything is going to be okay. I never got to tell you I became a cheerleader and even though you wont be at any of my football games, you will be there in my heart. I know you would be so proud of James and I. I just wish you would be here with me to experience it all. I miss you so much words cant even explain. I know I will see you again some day in the future. Say hi to Michael for me. I love you!

I know I had already wrote something but for the past few days I have been bleeding out tears because I miss my nana more than anything in the whole entire world she was nice to me and always supporting me and I get this feeling kind of every minute like I just want to touch her one last time. when I was 6 years old me and nana planted a time capstil together. and right after she had died my dad re dug it outside I opened it and it was rueind. and every grandchild who is reading this or my cousins specifically Kari, Lindsay, Racheal, James, Genna, and me she loved us all so so much and I bet you all are going through what im going through.

On this first Mother's Day without you here with me, I am feeling so beyond heavy hearted. For the past 39 years, I have spent this special day with you. So, of course, I just do not know what to do with all of these emotions that I am feeling right now. 

I know what you would tell me. You would say, "Patti Cakes, it's your turn now. It's your turn to be the matriarch of your family and it is time for you to allow Nicole to honor you today." And I know that she would be correct. 

It is not fair for me to take this special day from Nicole, so I am going to try my best to wipe my tears, and put a sincere smile on my face. After all, when Nicole tells me that I am a wonderful mother, I believe her. Because I learned how to be a Mom from you - the BEST!

Nana was the worlds greatest Nana I could ask for. She was always there for me if I was having a tough time at school or at home. She would comfort me when I was sad and make me laugh by making funny faces without her dentures in. She meant the whole world to me and I don't know what I will ever do without her. I will always remember feeding Heather carrots with her and going to the farmers market and riding down the street with the music blaring and the sunroof open. These memories will stick in my heart forever. I know she would be so proud.

my nana was such a fun and loving funny spirt that everybody wishes was here. she once told me that when the day came of her death she would always be with me forever. I would loose a leg to see her just for 30 seconds.

Thank you for being a wonderful and beautiful mother-in-law. I will miss you a lot and I will hold all those great memories you left with all my heart.

Where to even start?? Liz was always happy, laughing, cooking, joking, grabbing the grandkids whenever possible. I met her as a teenager and have always thought the world of her. Her laughter was contagious and her company was priceless! This world was a better place with her in it. I wish peace and love for the entire family.  Liz, you will be dearly missed and thought of always.

Today we celebrated your life. Thank you for loving your family with all of your heart. May we always remember the laughter you brought to each person you met. A room would light up when you were in it. When I think of you I smile because that's my Aunt Rennie. I am so lucky to have called you my Aunt. 

So thankful your in heaven and praising our Savior. And thankful your not in pain anymore. I'm sure your in heaven dancing and entertaining everyone!

Aunt Rennie is the person I couldn't wait to see at family functions because I always knew she was going to have something funny and a little inappropriate to say:).  Sad that she is gone but happy that she is no longer suffering.  I can only imagine the welcome she got from so many family members, must be some party,   I love you Aunt Rennie, try to stay out of trouble!!

Liz - I received the news today from your Gemstar office and I was deeply saddened- I have had your memories with me all day long and I have even laughed out loud a few times today as your loving memories flooded my mind and my heart.  You were such a Texas lady and you were my "Texas Mamma" - knowing that my mother lives in New Mexico you always asked about her and you made me feel so special and so loved. My heart is broken for your loving children and grandchildren and family - I know your world revolved around theirs and theirs around yours- I hope you have found Elvis and you all are whipping it up in heaven - you have touched my life and filled my heart with love forever- you always called me "LuLu" - I will never forget you - I love you Liz and I am so glad that you have finally been released from that body that was holding you prisoner - until we meet again on the other side of heaven - thank you Liz for everything.

Words cannot express how much I miss you. I already miss your sweet voice saying "I love you my Patti Cakes" and I already miss the feel of your arms around my neck each time you gave me a hug. My life is forever changed.

I never went one day of my life not knowing how much you loved me. If I can be half as amazing to Nicole as you were to me, then I know I'm doing OK.

I was (and always will be) proud to have you as my Mom and I hope I made you proud to be your daughter.

Liz was a woman that loved her family. She would come and eat lunch with Patti and her friends while Nicole was little and she would make us all laugh. Over the yrs I've heard a hundred stories about Liz and the family. I know she will be greatly missed. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

What can I say about Aunt Rene, She was possible the funniest person I have ever known. She was always laughing and did not mind speaking her mind. She was/is a great person and will be truly missed. Give my parents a big hug for me!! Love you Sherry& Polvadore Family

So many mixed emotions. I am so relieved that you are no longer in pain and are free from the body that held you back for so many years. Those of you that knew Liz, know how much joy and laughter and love she gave to everyone. All were welcome at her home and all that came were treated like family. She was so talented in many ways. "Mom", loved to laugh, dance and sing. She taught me how to cook family favorites and we both shared our love of making a big fuss over meals. We loved to just gossip about the silly shows that we watched and the story lines together. We would talk about what her "Puddin" and grandchildren were up too and the funny (and annoying) things that they had done. We also loved to complain and compare our current health woes. It somehow made us both feel a little better. She was a strong, amazing woman who loved her children and grandchildren with her whole heart.
I will miss her inappropriate sense of humor which always got a reaction.(mostly jaw dropping)
I will miss our marathon conversations. 
I will miss her smile and her laugh. 
I will miss talking about the latest book, movie or tv show that we liked. 
But mostly, I will miss my mother in law because I loved her and I am blessed to have had her in my life.

I am very fortunate to have known Liz and to have been a part of her life. Liz was a second mom to me in so many ways. I can honestly say I'm a better person for having knowing her, I'm not as sensitive as I was, I learned how to take a joke thanks in part to Liz. Liz was always in good spirits and joking around. If she really liked you, you could expect a hard time as well as a loving shoulder to lean on.  And if she found out what your favorite food or dessert was, you could expect it at the next family gathering, trust me I know first hand. But that was Liz, I called her Mom.

Aw, Nanna Liz....to me death is such a bitter sweet end to our time here on earth.  Sad for all the loved ones we leave behind; yet so sweet to be finally going Home. You will be sorely missed.
RIP my friend!

She was an amazing women, very hard headed at times but still an amazing woman. I couldnt have asked for a better grandmother. She wasn't afread to kick my butt when I needed it or anyone else's for that matter (or at least she tried). I cant image what my life would have been like without her in it. I'm gonna miss her like crazy but I know she is already up there in heaven having the time of her life and watching over me. She's another voice to guide me through my ever changing life. Her words of wisedom will never leave me. She will always be in my heart and in my mind. Missing you already Nanna but I know you're better now and you are where you belong.

Happy to have Liz as part of my teenage years.  She was basically a second mom (to me) who had to endure the toture two teenage heathens brought to her life;)  I sincerily thank her for being part of my life.  I will be seeing her again...
