Edward Arthur Zwernemann, 88, of Conroe, Texas, passed away on Monday, November 11, 2013. He was born on August 24, 1925 in LaGrange, Texas to Reinnald and Sophie Zwernemann. Edward served his country in WWII and the Korean War. He started in the Army Air Corp and then transitioned into the United States Air Force after it was formed. He was a lifelong member of the Conroe VFW. Edward was preceded in death by his wife Doris Mae Zwernemann and his son Ernest Alvin Zwernemann Sr. He is survived by his grandchildren Billie Hubbard and husband Kenny, Melinda Connelly and husband Dan, Ernest Zwernemann Jr. and wife Vera, and Edward Avery Zwernemann and wife Melissa; great-grandchildren Kyla, Crystal, Eric, Chase, Lerinda; great-great-grandchildren Layci, Layne, Rylee, Carsyn and one niece, Dorothy. The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 17, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. till 7:00 p.m. at Cashner Funeral Home. A graveside service with Military Honors will take place on Monday, November 18, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Conroe Memorial Park Cemetery.
