Douglas Chester Van Orman was born June 1, 1939 in Springfield, MA to Chester and Anna Dowling Van Orman. He passed away April 4, 2018 in Montgomery, TX at the age of 78. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Irene Van Orman of Montgomery, TX; children, Thomas Van Orman and wife Mary of Bellevue, WA, Brian Van Orman of Montgomery, TX, Mary Van Orman of Montgomery, TX, John Van Orman of Houston, TX; sister, Barbara Morrison of Longmeadow, MA; grandchildren, Jeffrey, Anna, Brian, Samantha, Blake, Jordan, Alexis, Bryce and Delaney. A Remembrance service is scheduled for Saturday, April 14, 2018 in the Cashner Colonial Chapel at 12:30pm, with a reception to follow in the Cashner Reception Hall. In lieu of flowers the family request that donations can be made, in his honor, to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
