Doris Agnes Ellisor

Doris was born on April 30, 1917 in Grapeland, Texas. She is preceded in death by both of her parents, her loving husband of 29 years, Lee Ellisor, her brothers Jimmy Masters, Kenneth Reed and Leroy Reed. She is survived by sisters Louise Warren and Lorraine West and husband Bill, sister in-laws, LouNell Nunn and Gery Reed-Godfrey and husband Jim Godfrey and many other family and friends.

Doris was a faithful and devoted member of the Hawthorne Baptist Church since 1962. All who knew “Aunt Doris” will miss her loving ways and her unselfish devotion to family and friends.

The family wishes to express their appreciation to Kechina Harrison and Robbie Robins for their loving and caring care these past few years.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Friday, September 24, 2010 from 5-8 p.m. at Metcalf Funeral Home, 1801 E. White Oak Terrace, Conroe, Texas 77304. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, September 25, 2010 at Hawthorne Baptist Church, Hawthorne Road, New Waverly, Texas followed by an interment at Old Waverly Cemetery, Old Waverly Community.
