Donnie Gene Sutton

He was a US Navy Veteran, after leaving the Navy he married his wife Rebecca Sutton on August 25, 1961. He drove a delivery truck for many years. He loved watching football, baseball and he loved being around his kids, grandkids, being with family and friends, having get togethers with music, singing and barbequing.

Donnie is preceded in death by his wife, Rebecca Sutton of 60 years; his parents, James and Ethel Sutton; twin brother, Lonnie Sutton; brother, Raymond Brown; sisters, Ercell Hulon and Myrtle (Snookie) Kelley.

He is survived by his daughter, Lisa Brooker; son, Jeffery Sutton; grandsons, Brandon Brooker and his wife Ruby, Brett Brooker; granddaughter, Amber Sutton; great granddaughter, Aubrey Reese; great grandson, Tommy Brooker; sister, Nannie Mae Sunday; sister in laws, Judy Sutton and Linda Fenley; brother-in-law, Jimmy Ammons and his wife Dorthey; honorary niece, Sherry Real; nephew, Gary Sutton; Along with numerous loving nieces and nephews.

Celebration of life will be held Saturday July 27, 2024, 3:00pm at Cashner Funeral Home in Conroe, Texas.
