Donald Ray Land

Donny is preceded in death by his parents Roy and Marie Land and son Micah Sheyne Adamick.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of nearly 30 years Regina Land, daughters Wendy and husband William Avant, DeeDee and husband Brandon Truss, son Donald Ray Land II and wife Erin, daughter Brandi and husband Justin Holliday and son Chase Adamick, brother Ross Land and wife Karla, sisters Phyllis Brockermeyer and husband Danny and Brenda Overton. He was blessed with 11 grandchildren: Alexis Jordan and husband JJ, Michael Morse, Cody Land, Martin Worley II and wife Hailey, Darrel Worley and wife Kerrigan, Ciara Truss, Shey, Maci & Rubi Holliday, Kassidi Adamick and Carter Johnston. He was blessed further with 4 Great Grandchildren: Brileigh, Andrew, Parker and Mitchell. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and lifelong friends.

Donny loved spending time with his family and friends. He loved the outdoors and all types of hunting and fishing. He spent many weekends in the woods hunting, fishing, and sitting around the campfire with his family and lifelong friends. He loved playing cards, bowling, singing, dancing, and picking on his guitar. Music was always a big part of his life, and he was always singing a tune going about his daily routine. He loved telling jokes and playing pranks on his family and friends, and always got the biggest laugh at his antics.

Donny was a Master Mason and member of C. A. Fortner Lodge on Sheldon Road in Houston, TX. By trade he was a Master Electrician, Motor Controls Specialist and at the time of his retirement he was an electrical crane technician.

His family will welcome visitors to Cashner Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 9th, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 10th at 10:00 a.m. at Cashner Funeral Home. He will be laid to rest at Garden Park Cemetery in Conroe, TX.
