Dennis Phelps Jones

Dennis Jones, beloved husband, father, and friend was born November 21, 1946 in Humble, TX. Dennis passed away at home in Conroe, TX on November 21, 2012 at the age of 66 after a brief, though intense battle, with cancer. He is survived by his wife Cindy, daughter Denise DelVecchio of Midlothian, TX, step-daughter Jennie Miller of Taipei, Taiwan, three grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Dennis was a life-long pilot with a love of all things aviation, which he shared with his wife Cindy. He owned and operated several businesses throughout his life, and was a 45 year member of the Houston Masonic Lodge. His many great friends crossed all walks of life, as he knew truly the value of friendship.

A memorial service with be held at Metcalf Funeral Directors of 1801 East White Oak Terrace, in Conroe, TX 77304 at 10am on Thursday November 29th, 2012. A reception will follow at the family residence in Conroe, TX In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Houston Masonic Lodge #1189 of 4911 Montrose Blvd., Houston, TX 77006-6530.
