We had gone to a really cute restaurant in Montgomery and the other pictures we were at a cute little bakery in New Caney . Both were great days . Lots of laughter

You knew you were going to marry me I’m so blessed you picked me out of the crowd.
You were my life partner my person who I loved with the deepest love possible. 
Our life together on this journey was full of joy and sorrow that came to soon. You are my hero who fought a tough opponent. The Lord called you home to rest and walk among the stars I will look for the brightest one that is twinkling and know it’s you.

I met David in 2013 and began serving him and Watts as a  contractor. We quickly became fond of working together via phone calls. He invited me to come to an industry tradeshow in Houston to meet him face to face and to learn more about the company and the industry by being in the Watts booth. 
We became friends and met a few times to play golf.
David was a good golfer. We fun playing together. 
David was also a good guitar player. Several times on business calls I could hear him softly playing licks on an electric guitar. When I asked, he admitted that he played and had a collection of guitars. At one point I called him to show him an acoustic guitar I had decided to buy. He liked my choice.
Around two months later we met to play golf and after we were done he asked me to meet him in the lobby for a soft drink. He put his clubs away and showed up in the lobby with a guitar. He said he wanted me to try it...when he opened the case it was the guitar I had told him about! He had liked what he had seen and ordered one. I played it, then went home and immediately ordered that guitar. 
David was fun, positive, generous and kind. I would eventually meet his wife, Renay. She was a perfect match for David - joyful and kind as well.
David and I talked about faith numerous times. He made it clear to me that his faith was important.
I miss my friend. I know his other friends and family who have known him longer than me miss him as well. I continue to work for Watts and am grateful for the time I had with David Carr. 
God bless and be gracious to my brother and to his family.

Rest In Peace David

David, you bravely fought a hard, exhausting battle. Now it's time to rest and be at peace my friend. To be honest, I'm sort of jealous that you get to go to heaven before me. I will see you, Codi, Johnny, and many other friends and loved ones who went before me soon. Those who know the Lord never see each other for the last time.

ReNay, Ann, Tammie & Bruce, no words I say can express how heartbroken I am for you or bring you comfort. Just know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. Hugs to you my friends ❣️

Pro!  I can't believe you're gone.  I will always remember and cherish our times together on the course and our regular lunches.  I'll never have a better friend and confidant!  Hit 'em straight and always leave a spot for me in your foursome.

David when you were little I would come by to pick you up and take you to ride the horses at the kiddie carnival on north side.    I loved watching your face riding those horses.  You were very special to me and always will be.  I can only imagine the smile on your face when you saw Jesus.   You made this earth a better place and certainly be missed.  Love Sharon.
