David W. Beard, 74, of New Waverly, Texas, passed away on Monday, July 14, 2014. He was born on September 12, 1939 in Falkville, Alabama to James and Jessie Beard. David is survived by his loving wife of 23 years Nancy; son Bradley Beard and wife Sandy; daughter Kimberley Parish and husband Shiloh; grandchildren Courtney, Khayla, and Chellsea; brother Hollis Beard and wife Francis; sister Iva Nell Barnes and husband Lee and numerous family members and friends. The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 17, 2014 from 9:00 a.m. till 11:00 a.m. Graveside services will be Thursday, July 17, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Garden Park Cemetery.
