Mass of Christian Burial for Dave A Scott will be held Monday, October 11, 2010 at 11:00am at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Cleveland, TX with Father Eric Groner officiating. Visitation will be held from 3:00pm to 5:00pm with a rosary at 4:00pm at Cashner Funeral Home in Conroe, TX. Dave was born December 26, 1934 in Longview, Washington to Arthur John and Julia K Scott and passed away October 7, 2010 in Cleveland, TX. Dave retired from the Navy after 20 years of dedicated service. He served in the Korea, the Cuban Crisis and Viet Nam war as a submarine sailor. He also worked for ten years at Union Tank Car. Dave is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Rose Scott of Cleveland; sons, Jeff Scott and wife Ellen of Magnolia and Mark Scott and wife Debbie of Coldspring; grandchildren, Justin Scott, Chad Scott, Cory Scott, Jason Scott and Casey Scott and nieces Cheryl Harris and Jennifer Mazur. Numerous other relatives and friends also survive.
