Christine Nana Mary Stone Gerdin

She was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Mary Stone, Uncle Larry and Aunt Kay Shaw, Uncle Fred and Aunt Dot Shields, Uncle Gordon Shields, Aunt Midge and brother-in-law Larry Oberacker.

She is survived by her loving husband Gerard; mother of Michael and wife Barbara, Brian and wife Robin, Matthew and wife Katie, Tammy and husband Brian and Kathleen Gerdin. She also loved and cherished her grandchildren and was an adored “Nana” to Meghan, Elizabeth, Gracie, Cody, Ally, Evan, Ethan, Makayla and Alanna.

She is also survived by her sisters Sandy Oberacker of Massachusetts, and Shiela Stone of Florida. She was very close to her cousins who were like siblings to her, Nancy Jacobs, Kim Ford and Mark Shaw.

Visitation will be held prior to the service on Friday, March 13, 2015 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. A celebration of Christine’s life will take place on Friday, March 13, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Metcalf Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in memory of Christine Gerdin to Farmington Baptist Church, 194 Whittier Road Farmington, ME 04938.
