Charlotte May Renouf Hamilton was born in Racine, Wisconsin on September 22, 1947 and passed away in Conroe, Texas on May 1, 2018 at the age of 70. Charlotte was born with a servant’s heart and spent her whole life serving others. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother and managed the charity organization, Bags of Love. Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents, Duaine Renouf and Christina Hoyle Basham. Those who loved her and will miss her dearly include her loving husband, Fred L. Hamilton Sr. of Conroe, Texas; son, Fred L. Hamilton Jr. of League City, Texas; daughters, Debrah Slocum and husband Roger of Charleston, South Carolina, Lanita Hernandez of Santa Fe, Texas and Tammy S. Cox of Conroe, Texas; sisters, Joan Conway, Darlene Dettmann, Diana Smith, Barbara Dieckman and Diana Peterson; brother Beryl Renouf; 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. The family request donations be made, in lieu of flowers, to the Bags of Love, via Conroe Seventh-Day Adventist Church at 3601 S. Loop 336 E., Conroe, Texas 77301, (936)443-4587. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at the Conroe Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 3601 S. Loop 336 E., Conroe, Texas 77301, on Sunday, June 3, 2018, starting at 1:00pm. Pastor's Dwight Seek and Rick Bailey will officiate.
