Charles "Chuck" Wayne Smith

Charles “Chuck” Wayne Smith, 30, of Willis, Texas, passed away on Friday, November 23, 2012. He was born on April 14, 1982 in Beaumont, Texas, to James and Lola Smith. Charles graduated from Willis High School and the Ocean Corporation in Houston. Charles deeply loved his family, friends and especially his “Princess” Brooke. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He long suffered from depression and addiction, especially following the loss of his younger brother, Micah. He had a very soft heart and his last wishes were to see Micah again; by the grace of Jesus he is with him today.

Charles was preceded in death by his brother Micah Smith. Charles is survived by the light of his life, his daughter, Brooke Smith; parents James and Lola Smith; brother Lucas Smith and wife Holly “Sis”; grandparents Milton and Beverly Smith and Victor and Lolita Petkovsek; niece Ashlynn Smith; nephew Tyler Kelly and numerous family members and friends.

The family will receive friends on Monday, November 26, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. at Cashner Funeral Home, 801 Teas Rd. Conroe, Texas, 77303. Funeral services under the direction of Pastor Ron Bates will be Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. in the Cashner Colonial Chapel.
