Bobby Gene Koehler

He is preceded in death by his wife, Gertie Koehler, his parents Otto & Annie Koehler, 5 brothers, 2 sisters and granddaughter, Kimberly Busch.

He is survived by his children Kathy Jacobs and husband Donnie, Ronnie Koehler and wife Tracy, Jimmy Koehler and wife Vanessa, Kim Koehler and fiancé Bubba Reese, Greg Koehler and wife Roby, Priscilla Cox and husband Billy, brother, Jerry Koehler and wife Dee, sister, Gloria Triesch and husband Nelson, 15 grandchildren & 10 great grandchildren. Numerous family in-laws and personal friends.

Bob served in the Navy and is a Korean War Veteran. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Plantersville, TX.

In the early 80’s Bob was the owner of the largest trim & cabinet company, Bar-Koe Construction of Houston, TX. He spent his life as a trim carpenter teaching his trade to his 3 sons.

Services for Bob Koehler will be held at St. Mary Catholic Church in Plantersville, beginning with the Visitation on Wednesday, August 8, 2012 from 5-7 pm and a Rosary at 7:00 pm. The Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, August 9, 2012 at 10:30am. St. Mary’s Catholic Church is located off FM1774 in Plantersville; the address is 8227 CR 205, Plantersville, Texas 77363. Father Edward C. Kucera, Jr. will serve as Celebrant. The Rite of Committal will follow in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.
