Bobby Ray Carter

Bobby Ray Carter of Conroe passed away December 12, 2012. Bobby was born April 14, 1933 to Parker and Annie Carter, he was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Conroe. Bobby retired from the United States Air Force after 28 years of service.

Bobby is preceded in death by his wife Betty Carter.

Bobby is survived by his son: Keith Carter and wife Connie; daughter: Kay Carter; grandchildren: Jason Chambers, Timothy Murphy and wife Holly, Scott Peckler and wife Bethany, Lisa Kay Carter; great grandchildren: Clay Chambers, Emma Chambers, Drew Chambers, Grace Peckler; and numerous other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held 4:00 to 6:00 pm Sunday at Metcalf Funeral Directors. The Funeral services will be 10:00am Monday December 17, 2012 at the First United Methodist Church, 4308 W. Davis St. Conroe,

Texas 77304. The Interment will be held 10:00 am Tuesday in Gardens of Memory Cemetery Minden, La.

In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the First United Methodist Church, of Conroe Bobby Carter Memorial Fund.

Bobby had a love of the Lord, and room in his heart for everyone else.
