Betty Lorene James Sessions

Funeral services for Betty L. Sessions, age 79, of Conroe will be held on Thursday, September 1, 2011 at 10 a.m. in Cashner Colonial Chapel with Pastor Gene Kendrick officiating. Interment will follow in Brookside Cemetery, Houston, Texas. Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, August 31, 2011 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Cashner Funeral Home.

Betty was born March 4, 1932 in Russellville, Alabama and passed away on August 29, 2011 at her home in Conroe, Texas. She was a member of Mims Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Emmett Jackson and Lula Mae Pace James. Betty is survived by her husband of 58 years, Joe Sessions; daughters, Joyce McCracken and husband Ken, Sabrina Rogers and husband Larry and Lawana Gibbs; sister, Bessie Wade; brother, Hollis James; grandchildren, Randall Huey, Shelley Boetticher, Jeremy Wood, Amy Rogers, Ethan Wood and Katie Winter; great grandchildren, Colton, Aidan, Breanna and Reagan. Numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends also survive. Pallbearers will be Randall Huey, Keven Boetticher, Nicholas Kopoulos, Jeremy Wood, Ethan Wood, and Chance Winter.
