Barbara Landon Bishop of Conroe went home to be with the Lord on September 23, 2013 in Conroe, Texas. Barbara was born March 17, 1935 in Humble Texas. Barbara was preceded in death by parents, Okey Ray Landon and Mary Lee Klienman; Daughter, Nancy Lynn Johnson; Sister, Emily Landon Philips; Grandchildren, Shawn Keyes, Cory Johnson, John L. Musgrove and Katrina Fields. She is survived by her son Billy Gene Winterbauer Jr. and wife Retia. Her Daughters: Linda Lee Vaikeli and husband Siome, Marie Etta Kuhl, Brenda Kay Taylor. Brother: Okey Landon and wife June; 14 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Numerous nieces and nephews and other friends and relatives also survive. A very special thank you to Elaine and Brenda for taking such good care of Barbara for the last few years.
Visitation for Barbara will be held on Thursday September 26, 2013 from 5 to 7 pm at Metcalf Funeral Directors with services on Friday at 10 am in the Metcalf Funeral Chapel. Interment will be at 1 pm in Rosewood Cemetery in Humble Texas.
