Anna Bell Brau

Anna Bell Goebel Brau passed away on Friday, September 22, 2017 in Conroe, Texas. She was born on June 20, 1914 in Winchester, Texas to Mary and Herman Goebel. She was a faithful member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Magnolia, Texas.

Anna was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Benno; brothers Walter, Leonard, Jack, Edward, and Alfred; Her twin Isabelle; and sisters Lillie and Bernice. She is survived by her daughter Betty Ray Lakey and husband Pat; grandchildren Barbara Kay Peterson and husband David, and Cynthia Burkett and husband Cydne; five great- grandchildren; six great-great- grandchildren and brother Royal Goebel.

The family will receive friends on Friday, September 29, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. at Metcalf Funeral Directors, 1801 E. White Oak Terrace, Conroe, Texas 77304. Graveside services will be on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Fairview Cemetery, 1409 Hwy 95 N, Bastrop, Texas. In Lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church, P O Box 553, Magnolia, TX 77353.
