She was preceded in death by her parents Albert and Lula Richards, along with 10 brothers and sisters.
As a country girl she loved her family, gardening, nature, (red birds and roosters) old and unusual tress, mountains, shopping, traveling, cooking, and family get together. Agnes loved card games, reading, and puzzles, find-a –word books, and was known to be an excellent hostess. While living in Elba she worked at a sewing factory to earn money to finance a large addition for her home.
In Conroe, she was a bakery associate for several years at Albertsons and Randalls. She was well liked by countless of her customers. As a young mother she sewed dresses for daughters and neighbors. Agnes worked very hard helping her highly skilled husband build two, two story homes/garages.
Agnes was a very confident person, possessed strong values, was morally driven, and lived her life as a trusted friend, incredibly dedicated partner, and wonderful mother and grandmother. She was highly respected by her family, closet friends and many others as an upstanding citizen during her lifetime. She spent many hours of her life being a “good neighbor” to others in need and led and encouraged her family in doing so. Agnes was always trying to make others comfortable and “at home”. She would always spend extra time to wave goodbye to friends that had to depart from her sight. She was a fine Christian lady that will be forever missed by her loved ones.
