Wendy Shay Cagle

Wendy Shay Killian Cagle, age 36, of Statesville, passed away on Sunday, January 22, 2017, at her residence. Born July 8, 1980, she was the daughter of Wanda Lee Clark Cline and the late Gerald Killian.

Wendy was a member of Back to Calvary Community Church in Valdese.

In addition to her father, Wendy was preceded in death by her grandfather, Grady Clark; and uncle, Grady Clark Jr.

Survivors include her husband of 10 years, Kenneth Cagle; mother, Wanda Lee Clark Cline; sons, Nathan Setzjavascript:__doPostBack('ctl00$ContentPlaceHolder1$btnSave','')er and Marshall Setzer of Sherrills Ford; daughters, Brittnay Farley of Claremont and Stephanie Killian of Vale; brothers, Dennis Cline and wife, Daisie of Ohio, Shannon Cline and wife, Rhonda of Claremont, and Scott Killian; sister, Gina Macintosh; grandmother, Violet H. Clark of Claremont; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

A service of remembrance will be held on Thursday, January 26, 2017 at 11:00 AM at the Drum Funeral Home Chapel in Conover with Pastor Whitey Hedrick officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. at Drum Funeral Home in Conover. Burial will follow at Providence Memorial Cemetery in Catawba.

A reception following the burial will be held at Violet Clark’s home, 2555 Circle F Ranch Road, Claremont, NC 28610
