Tracy Leanne Greeson Royal, age 49, of Claremont, NC, entered her Heavenly home on Sunday, June 17, 2018, at her home, surrounded by her loving husband and family. Born January 26, 1969 in Catawba County, she was the daughter of Earl Ronald Greeson and Vicky Hoke Greeson, both of Claremont.
Mrs. Royal was employed by Community One Bank in Customer Service for 17 years until her illness. She loved her position there helping “her people” with all their banking needs. She graduated from Bunker Hill H.S. where she played the drums (quads). Tracy was a loving and giving friend to everyone she met. She was a loving mother to her children and adored her grandchildren. They were “Gigi’s” whole world.
In addition to her parents, those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 21 years, Greg Royal of Claremont; son, Jonathan Helms and fiancée Cassey Shook of Maiden; daughter, Brianna Hughes and fiancée Michael Hedrick, Jr. of Hickory; sisters, Teri Lynn Greeson and Jamie Canipe; grandchildren, Cameron Helms and Michael Hedrick, III; and her precious little “fur baby” dog Harley.
A private graveside service will be held at Catawba Memorial Park with Pastor Tracy Collins officiating.
The family will receive friends at the Drum Funeral Home Chapel in Conover, on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
The family would like to thank all of her caregivers from Carolina Oncology, Catawba Radiation and Catawba Regional Hospice for their special care and love for Tracy.
