Robert "Bob" Eugene Gonzales Sr.

In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his wife of 26 years, Anne Marie Gonzales.

Bob was a dedicated and loving husband, father, uncle, brother and friend. He never met a stranger. If you had the time, he would sit and talk to you for hours. Bob enjoyed listening to music, reading books, and at the age of 71, he loved to play video games.

Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Robbie Gonzales; sister, Jill Willers; nephews and nieces, Craig and Sue Willers and their children, Jalen and Emily Willers; Mark and Lynsey Gonzales and their daughter Alyssa Gonzales; Jessica Rhoton; Bonnie-Lynn Crenshaw and husband and their children Christopher, Jacob, and Caleb Crenshaw.

The family will receive friends from 6pm to 8pm on Thursday, December 8 at Drum Funeral Home Chapel, 509 First Ave South, Conover, NC.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held 2pm on Friday, December 9 at First United Methodist Church, 410 First Ave North, Conover, NC with Reverend Charmagine Van Rooyen officiating. Burial will follow at Conover City Cemetery.
