Nadine Dagenhart Holbrook

Nadine Dagenhart Holbrook, age 81, passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2015 at her residence. Born August 11, 1934 in Catawba County, she was the daughter of the late Frank Joe Dagenhart and Maggie Moss Dagenhart. She was a LPN at Catawba Valley Medical Center for over twenty years and a longtime member of Hopewell United Methodist Church in Sherrills Ford, NC. Nadine enjoyed flower gardening and was a loving and caring sister.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Elizabeth “Lib” Travis and her husband, Buster; brother, George Dagenhart and infant brother, Ray Dagenhart.

Left to cherish her memory are sisters, Avis Sessoms of Charlotte, Darlene King of Charlotte, Carolyn Deal and husband, Larry, of Newton; sister-in-law, Trish Dagenhart of Catawba; four nieces and four nephews.

A Service of Remembrance will be held on Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Hopewell United Methodist Church in Sherrills Ford with Rev. Robert “Bob” Roten officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be, Calvin Greer, Anthony Brumley, Christopher Brumley, Wayne Dagenhart, Justin Dagenhart, and Gary Hicks.

Her family will receive friends on Wednesday from 1:00 to 1:45 p.m. prior to the service.
