In addition to her parents, Mildred was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Milton E. “Mick” Cline; son, Robert Dale Cline; brothers, Howard Bumgarner and Lloyd Bumgarner; as well as her sisters, Lillian Williams, Willow Huffman, Etta Sigmon, Margie Williams, Thelma Smith, and Kay Conte.
Mildred was known for her loving spirit and was an integral part of her family. She was a homemaker and a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Conover. She enjoyed spending time with her husband fishing and loved being with her grandchildren.
Those left to cherish Mildred’s memory are her son, Jerry Cline (Cindy); daughters, Kay Ballard (Bish), Judy Burke (Jim); seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
A celebration of life service will be held at 2pm on Monday, May 22, 2023 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Conover with Reverend Richard Tucker officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1pm to 1:45pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Immanuel Lutheran Church, 2448 Emmanuel Church Rd., Conover, NC 28613.
