Mary "Bobbie" Frances Whisenant

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Harry Whisenant and brother, Bill Whitener.

Bobbie was a long time member of Trinity Reformed UCC, where she loved to worship and assist with church functions. She was an avid bridge player and enjoyed a good challenge. Bobbie was a great cook and loved to bake. Her favorite item to bake was sourdough bread, which she enjoyed sharing with others. If not at church or in her kitchen, you would find her outside doing yard work. Bobbie was a very gentle and soft-spoken lady who loved her family and friends deeply.

Those left to cherish her memory are son, Jeff Whisenant; brothers, Jack Whitener and Joe Whitener; sisters, Libby Connor and Becky Ramsey.

A celebration of Life Service will be held at 2pm, on Thursday, December 8, 2022 at Trinity Reformed UCC in Conover with Pastor Peggy Stout officiating.

The family will receive prior to the service at Trinity Reformed UCC from 1pm to 1:45pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Trinity Reformed UCC, 217 2nd Ave NE, Conover, NC 28613.

The Whisenant family has entrusted funeral arrangements to Drum Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Conover, NC.
