James Richard Hamm

Born March 4, 1951 in Mercer Co, WV, he was the son of the late Oliver Franklin and Irene Edna McBride Hamm. He was employed with Inter-Continental Corporation in Newton, NC, for over 20 years and was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Hamm was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Survivors include his sister, Helen L. Jones of Princeton, WV; girlfriend, Saretha E. Stone of the home; stepson, Trey Setzer; stepdaughter, Natasha Setzer; step grandchildren, McKenzie Chavis and Haley Lane; caretaker, Andra Lynn Guthrie; close friend, Sharron J. Thompson; two nieces; one nephew; several great nieces and nephews; cousins; and many other family and friends.

The funeral service will be held at Memorial Funeral Home in Princeton, WV on Sunday, December 15, 2013.

The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 14, 2013 at Drum Funeral Home in Conover.
