Ida Annette Cline

Ann Reinhardt Cline, age 79, of Conover, NC, passed away peacefully on November 8, 2017, at Catawba Regional Hospice in Newton, NC. Born February 2, 1938, in Catawba County, she was the daughter of the late James Edward Reinhardt, Jr. and Claire Nell Beam Reinhardt.

Ann was an active member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Conover, NC, where she was a former member of the choir, LWML, Altar Guild, and Prayer Shawl Ministry. She and her husband Ira were proud owners of Ira Cline Strawberry Farm and were members of the NC and North American Strawberry Growers Assoc. Ann had been active in the Farm Bureau, 4H, NRA, and the Catawba County Republican Women.

In addition to her parents, Ann was preceded in death by her grandson, Hoyle Hoover; and a brother, James Edward Reinhardt, III.

Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Ira Sidney Cline of Conover, NC; daughters, Claire C. Sipe and husband Ron of Conover, NC, Sandra C. Herman and husband Joe of Conover, NC, and Susan C. Hughes and husband David of Conover, NC; son, Thomas E. Cline and wife Debbie of Conover, NC; sister, Peggy R. Pickard and husband Faison of Marion, VA; brother, Howard Beam Reinhardt and wife Reba of Maiden, NC; grandchildren, Marie Sipe, Elizabeth Beisler, Holly See, Eric Herman, Kaitlan Herman, Sidney Hughes, Emilie Hughes, Christopher Cline, and Chelsey Sorrels; great-grandchildren, Kaylee, Natalie, Kassidy, Jackson, Madelyn, Cayden, NaLae, Livia, Delilah, Lilly, Brendan, and Caleb.

A service of remembrance will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, November 11, 2017, at St. John’s Lutheran Church with Rev. Scott Johnson and Rev. Anton Lagoutine officiating. The burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 PM on Friday at St. John’s Lutheran Church.
