Heather Elise Ledford, age 33, of Vale, passed away on May 5, 2013 at Frye Regional Medical Center. Born June 15, 1979 in Catawba County, she was the daughter of Michael John Booth and Carolyn Barnes Booth. She enjoyed time spent with her horses and the natural scenery provided by the great outdoors.
In addition to her parents, survivors include her husband of 10 years, Shane Ledford; a son, Alexander Gage Ledford, age 7; brothers, Jesse Goble of Reidsville, Larry Goble of Morganton; sisters, Wendy Stubbs of Suwanee, GA, Jennifer Pruitt of Conover, Beverly Goble of Vale, Elizabeth Schronce of Hickory, and Anna Thomas of Greenville, SC.
A service of remembrance will be held in the Chapel of Drum in Conover on Friday, May 10, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Adam Ashoff officiating. Burial will follow in the Macedonia Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Friday, prior to the service, from 1:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m.
