Faye Keever Midgett, age 83, of Maiden, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 12, 2023. She was born in Lincoln County on Tuesday, March 26, 1940 to the late Fredrick Lester Keever and Myrtle McGee Keever.
In addition to her parents, Faye was preceded in death by brother, Fred Keever and sister, Maxine Goodson.
Faye was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was a teacher for twenty-five years before she retired. Faye enjoyed scrapbooking, playing cards and reading.
Those left to cherish Faye’s memory are her husband of sixty-one years, Marcus Midgett; son, Mike Midgett (Sherrie); daughter, Kelly Hayes (Jeff); sisters, Audrey Whitener, Leslie Frye, Jeanette Starnes (Bruce), Mary Jo Williams (Ronnie); sister in law, Jackie Keever; grandchildren, Chelsea Franzke (Norman), Alex Midgett, Claire Hayes, Mason Hayes; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service will be held at 3pm on Thursday, June 15, 2023 at St. Martin’s Lutheran Church with Pastor Nathan Yoder officiating. Visitation will follow after the service.
