Dorothy Beal White

Dorothy Ruby Beal White, age 84, passed away on Sunday, November 29, 2015 at her residence. Born October 12, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Noah Alexander Beal and Mary Emma Rhodes Beal. A member of East First Street Baptist Church in Newton, Dorothy was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Reinhardt; second husband, Charles H. White; four brothers and two sisters.

Left to cherish her memory are sons, Robert Reinhardt and wife, Carolyn, of Claremont, Michael S. Reinhardt of Newton; daughter, Janet Elkins and husband, David, of Dallas, NC; sister, Rosa Weaver; four grandchildren, Angie Ramsey of Blacksburg, SC, Kenneth Elkins of Dallas, NC, Juanita Miller of Newton, NC, Tonya Murray of Tiverton, RI ; nine great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

A Service of Remembrance will be held on Friday, December 4, 2015 at East First Street Baptist Church at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Allen McCoy officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

Her family will receive friends on Thursday, December 3, 2015 at Willis-Reynolds Funeral Home in Newton from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
