Catherine Canipe Isenhour

Catherine Canipe Isenhour, age 83, of Conover, passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at Catawba Regional Hospice in Newton. Born July 6, 1930 in Lincoln County, she was the daughter of the late Horace Wilford and Edith Mae Carpenter Canipe.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Horace Ray Isenhour of Lincolnton, Tony Dwight Isenhour and wife, Thelma, of Lincolnton, Wade Sherman Isenhour of Lincolnton; daughters, Elizabeth Mae Stilwell and husband, Ray, of Lincolnton, and Shelia Faye Isenhour of Conover; brothers, Wilford Canipe of Vale, Bobby Canipe of Lincolnton, and James Canipe of Lincolnton; sisters, Ann Hasting of Statesville, Lela “Dink” Childers of Vale, and Daphine Swain of Statesville; nine grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel of Drum Funeral Home in Conover at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, November 22, 2013 with Rev. Stephen Rector officiating.

The family will receive friends following the service.
