Betty Jean (Holbrook) Drum

In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Wilson Drum Jr.; brothers, David Lee Holbrook and Jesse David Holbrook; sisters, Dorothy Dagenhardt, Catherine Campbell, Margaret Sigmon, Carolyn Johnson, Helen Travis, and Lillie Mae Holbrook.

Those left to cherish her memory are sons, Ted Eugene Drum and wife Diane, Dale Alan Drum, Glenn David Drum, and Paul Owen Drum and wife Melanie; daughter, Deborah Whitmore and husband Randy; 12 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren.

Her funeral service will be held at 2pm on Sunday, January 15, 2023 at Shiloh United Methodist Church Sanctuary, 1648 Shiloh Rd, Claremont, NC 28610 with Pastor David C. Nolan officiating.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1pm-1:45pm in the church fellowship hall. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
