Nancy Lynn Kubalanza

Nancy was born August 18, 1952, to James F. and Juanita Short Thompson in Connersville, Indiana. She was such a creative person who loved inventing things. Nancy loved family more than anything. She served her country in the United States Air Force from 1979 – 1983 as a Firefighter.

She is survived by son, Christopher M. Young of Indianapolis; brother, James K. Thompson of Indianapolis; sister, Susan E. Kehl of Indianapolis; grandsons, Devyn S. Young and Christian T. Young both of Fort Collins, Colorado; niece, Jessica James; nephew, Ryan Kehl and many friends.

Nancy was preceded in death by parents; sister, Beth Ann Thompson; and brother, Terry W. Thompson.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Visitation for Nancy Lynn Kubalanza will be 12:00p.m. – 2:00p.m. Friday, June 16, 2023, at Showalter Blackwell Long Funeral Home, 920 Central Avenue, Connersville, Indiana. Funeral Service will follow at 2:00p.m. at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Dale Cemetery, Connersville with military honors provided by the Fayette County Honor Guard.
